The Best DNA Test for Health

The Best DNA Test for Health

There are many reasons why an individual would want to buy a DNA health test. Oftentimes, it’s because a family member has a disease or condition that could be genetically passed down, either to immediate kin or to subsequent children. Health DNA testing kits are becoming increasingly popular for testing the likelihood of developing specific lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, dementia, hypertension, etc.

Health DNA Test at Home

Genewell™ tests for genetic variants involved in physiological processes that are linked to an increased risk for certain (lifestyle) diseases. Using these results, individuals can consult with their doctor on preventative measures that can be taken if the likelihood of developing these conditions is high.

A simple, painless mouth swab is all it takes to determine these and other genetic factors.

Having a gene test done to determine what your genetic shortcomings are when it comes to your long-term health can have multiple benefits, one of which is saving you money in the long run. The knowledge provided by the DNA tests available can eliminate uncertainties about your predisposition to various diseases as you age.

Buying a Home DNA Test

You can purchase a DNA Collection Kit from an accredited Geneway™ practitioner. If there is not a Geneway™ practitioner in your area, order a home DNA test kit from orders@geneway.co.za, however, additional courier costs will apply.

Once you have done your mouth swab and sent the test to the lab, your results will arrive within 7 working days. Your practitioner will then discuss your results with you, and you can begin making important lifestyle decisions.

Contact us at info@geneway.co.za if you would like us to speak to a specific practitioner on your behalf to discuss the genetic testing.
